The Medical Surgical Nursing Department takes pride in teaching adult health nursing, including geriatrics, to students with innovative concepts that are in line with the university's curriculum and the Indian Nursing Council. This allows students to gain in-depth knowledge and develop proficiency in caring for patients with medical surgical disorders in various settings while providing preventive, promotive, and rehabilitative care.

The department of obstetrics and gynecological nursing strives to provide students with high-quality instruction in order to equip graduates and postgraduates with the skills and knowledge they need to provide comprehensive and holistic nursing care to mothers and newborns, including women with gynecological problems, which is necessary to work and perform on their own in a variety of medical settings as midwives. The department supports interdisciplinary learning and research, provides practice-based learning, and supports student research in the fields of women's health, reproductive health, high-risk pregnancy, and newborn care.
